Fernhill Garden Centre is based in Athlone, Co Westmeath in the centre of Ireland, offering free online advice and a comprehensive range of products for the garden enthusiast.


Fernhill Garden Centre is a family run business that was established in 1977 by the Reid Family. It has developed and grown rapidly in the past 10 years to become recognised as one of Ireland's leading Garden Centres. At Fernhill we offer a large range of garden products and services in our Garden Centre and in our five acres of display grounds.

An Bord Glas Awards

An award scheme was started in 1992 by An Bord Glas – the Irish Horticultural Development Authority to encourage better quality and standards through out the Garden Centre industry in Ireland.

Fernhill Garden Design and Landscape Service provides a team of highly qualified Horticulturists. Our clients are mainly private individuals who want the most innovative designs and highest standards of landscape gardening. Fernhill landscaping operates within a 50 mile radius of Athlone, on budgets from 5k to 500k. Fernhill Landscapes has achieved many ALCI awards over the last few years.
